Morogoro is a city located in the eastern part of Tanzania, approximately 196 kilometers west of Dar es Salaam. It serves as the capital of the Morogoro Region. Informally, it is referred to as Mji kasoro bahari, which translates to city short of an ocean/port.
‘Rock Garden,' is a hidden gem, featuring a wonderfully natural rocky river with clean cold water from the Uluguru Mountains surrounding the town.

Mikumi National Park is an area of 3,230 km2 (1,250 sq mi) that was established in 1964.
Mikumi National Park forms the northern boundary of Selous game reserve, one of the largest nature reserves in the world. This area that has been allocated for nature conservation allows for herds of animals to roam great distances uninhibited by fences or boundaries.
The park is the fourth largest wilderness area in Tanzania and is part of the largest tract of wilderness - 47 000 square kilometer - in Africa.
